Agent Dashboard

Agent Dashboard

Your agent dashboard appears when you log in. From here, you have an overview of all clients and their status in the personal tax workflow.

It’s designed to help you get all clients in the Submitted state well in advance of 31 January.

By default, the dashboard shows status for the currently submittable tax year. You can filter clients using the search bar or the preset filters.

The client status columns help you to identify and prioritise your workload. Clients will automatically change status when certain actions are taken:

Awaiting Client Input - all clients start the year with this status. It shows that information is still needed to prepare the return.

Ready for review - the client believes they have inputted the necessary information and it is ready for you to review.

Awaiting client approval - you have asked the client to formally approve the tax return.

Ready to submit - the client has approved the return.

Submitted - the return has been submitted to HMRC.

[The dashboard will also show if a return has been opened for resubmission and if an error was returned when submitting to HMRC.]

To view more details about your client, either search for them using the search bar or find them in the progress table. and select the 3 dots on the client and select View. This will give you an overview of your clients details, including your clients tax return details, the current status on the progress table, their current tax calculations and their tax form status. You will see a breakdown of what sections of the tax form are still to be completed.
